Bobbie Evans is a ball of lovable energy and brings the light into every room she enters. The concept of laughter is such a natural evolution for the work she does in uniting individuals, relieving the pain and stress of illness for families, patients, caregivers, staff and administration. She has branched out to include community organizations and finds that inner joy includes everyone! She is a Certified Lay Counselor, Certified Professional Alzheimer’s Educator, has served on the Board of Directors of the Central GA Alzheimer’s Association, and is a Certified Laughter Yoga Instructor as well as the founding Director for JoyFULL Laughter. Bobbie provides therapeutic healing through the modality of Laughter Yoga.
Bobbie experienced this healing personally. In 2008, she suffered a mild stroke which debilitated her speech and thought processes, leading to episodes of depression and anxiety. To a woman used to running several businesses and managing a large family, this was devastating. Bobbie began a journey of finding her way back to inner joy. She experienced her own therapeutic healing through laughter yoga exercises. Her passion is to share the “FULLness of lifes’ breath” with others through JoyFULL Laughter.
“We need to embrace life, every moment, and spread joy even in the midst of sorrow.” Bobbie explains. “Laughter is one way of sustaining us. God created laughter in us, it’s time to bring back that child like innocence!”
Bobbie shares Laughter Yoga as a perfect blend of playful, empowering and otherwise “tension-releasing” laughter exercises in Health Care facilities, Ministries, Corporations, and civic organizations.
